Our Mission Statement

Our mission at Goleta Valley Nursery School is to provide a high quality program. This includes all of the opportunities and skills for each child to achieve their own full potential. We strive to ensure that children are treated as unique individuals and that the needs of each child are met. We have a strong commitment to our families and the community in which they live; we believe this creates an ideal learning environment for children. We are committed to walking beside parents as we cultivate and nurture the whole child in a play-based, heart-centered and nature-inspired environment. Our greatest hope is that the children in our care enjoy their experience at our preschool in an enriching environment while at the same time cultivating a love of learning.

"When one tugs at a single thing in nature, he finds it attached to the rest of the world."

Serving Local Families Since 1967

Goleta Valley Nursery School first opened their doors in the fall of 1967. Our school began as a community outreach project of Cambridge Drive Community Church, and this holds to be true even today. We are a non-sectarian, private, non-profit preschool who has a great desire to offer an affordable, enrichment program to the families in our community.

Goleta Valley Nursery School is open for children 2 years through 5 years.  We are excited to announce that we are now serving our community year-round. We follow the Goleta Union School District calendar for all school holiday closures.
